Very nice portrait of a very good photographer: Elizabeth Weinberg. I’m following her on Instagram (elizweinberg). It’s recommended. (I tried to find an embed code but without success.)

This film started out as a kickstarter project but didn’t reach the goal to be founded. It was made anyway and the result is a thirty minute documentary about Martin Parr in the American South. It’s available on DVD for $20. I hope it’ll be also available for watching online in the future.

Nachdem ich vor einer Weile schon die Dokumentation „The impassioned eye“ über Henri Cartier-Bresson gesehen habe und super begeistert war, freue ich mich demnächst ganz in Ruhe auch „L’amour tout court“, was so viel heißt wie „die Liebe selbst“, zu gucken. Aufgenommen wurde sie 2001 als Cartier-Bresson 92 Jahre alt war.

Das ist der Trailer für die kommende Dokumentation von Tomas Leach über den großartigen New Yorker Street Fotografen Saul Leiter, dessen Retrospektive in den Hamburger Deichtorhallen ich blöderweise verpasst habe anzuschauen, ich Trottel. Freue mich jetzt um so mehr auf den Film.

The great documentary photographer Daniel Milnor talks about both his reportage and children photography and gives some general tips on composition and more.

This video and everything I read so far seems very promising. I really want to try one of those Surface tablets as soon as possible.

I’m not just yet totally convinced at the moment, but it’s great so see that Mozilla is working on a fresh and new Firefox Version for the iPad.

A release that is especially cool for all the non-developer WordPress owners, who want to change some appearance things themselves. This means it’s good for theme developers, too.

At 1:57 Chris Heilmann shows the upcoming responsive mode for Firefox 15. It looks really good and will really help developing responsive layouts. At the moment it’s often really a pain in the a** debugging a responsive layout because the whole browser and therefore the developer tools get very small while resizing. I hope this feature will also make it’s way to Safari and Chrome.

I’m really looking forward to Christmas now.
