Promovideo GoPro HERO3

Sooooo gut!

Leica Portrait — Jean Gaumy

Instagram with new feature: Photo Maps

Everything you need to know is explained in this video. I think it’s really great.

Bruce Davidson: A Lifetime with Leica

Daniel Milnor about environmental portraiture

I discovered the documentary work of Daniel Milnor already some time ago but got distracted by other photographers and styles. Now I’m back to reading a lot about his work and his thoughts as well as viewing his photographs. I’m trying to understand what he’s doing and why he’s doing it. Gone are the days of skipping over blogposts with a bunch of photos without reading the text accompanying them. Or at least that’s how I want it to be.

Daniel also does a lot of videos in which he presents photos and gives a back story and some advice. One of the best is about environmental portraits and you can watch it below.

A short film about Vivian Maier

I’m sure you’ve all heard of Vivian Maier, the street photographer whose thousands of photos were discovered just shortly after her death. There was even an exhibition about her work here in Hamburg, which I stupidly missed. Below is a touching short film about her and the photos she left behind. Have a nice sunday afternoon.

Harry Roberts at FrontTrends

I hope you remember my interview with Harry Roberts of csswizardry.com. At one point we talked about his presentation at the FrontTrends conference, which is now finally available for watching online. I encourage every Front End Developer to watch it and also read his blog.
