Canon Rumors:

Canon will be launching a new camera later in October. Already in production and described internally as a “Nikon-killer”, it is reportedly a camera with lower megapixels than might be expected for a new release, but with excellent dynamic range and ISO performance.

Uuuund mal wieder neuer Zündstoff für die 5D Mk III Gerüchteküche. Das ist allerdings in der Tat alles recht spannend, vor allem dann, wenn Canon es schafft eine Kamera zu produzieren die die ISO-Leistung der Nikons übersteigt.

Canon Rumors:

I’m told we’ll be seeing the 5D Mark III announced in October, with delivery shortly there after. I was not given any specs, which is probably a good sign.

Upon browsing through the Editor’s Choice area of 500px.com, I noticed this image. When you upload an image to the service, it automatically puts the EXIF Data in for you. However, it can be changed if you go in and edit the information. Apparently, Christopher Boffoli may have a Canon 5D Mk III.

Das ist doch Unsinn. Es ist, wie Chris selbst schon sagt, ein leichtes die EXIF Daten zu ändern. Vielleicht hat er sich einfach nur vertippt oder hat sich einen Spaß erlaubt. Des Spaßes wegen oder um absichtlich die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich und das Foto zu lenken. Und dass er jetzt nicht antwortet heißt ja auch gar nichts. Ich halte es für sehr sehr unwahrscheinlich, dass das Foto wirklich aus einer 5D Mk III kommt. Sollte das allerdings doch der Fall sein, nähern wir uns offenbar dem Release, was ja auch nicht so verkehrt ist.
