On Tuesday, March 4th, Marcel, Florian, Philipp and me finally released Placescore. If you haven’t heard of it, here it is in a nutshell:

Placescore is an iPhone app that let’s you conquer places. You do that by playing a simple game in which you have to bring three dots of the same color together to score points. If you score more points than the owner of the place, it’s yours. It’s that simple and it’s addictive.

The past few days were just amazing. There are already over 3.000 players who have played over 100.000 games. This is incredible and more than we hoped for. Thank you so much for playing Placescore and telling your friends about it. We have some cool things in store for the future and hope you stay with us. Keep playing. #plopp

Placescore on the App Store

Submitted! Read and iPad App

After months of work we finally did it. Yesterday we introduced Read and with it for iPad.
I hope you like it as much as we do. So let’s start Social Reading together. Thank you so much for your support. <3

Bartender – Mac Menu Bar Item Control

Bartender lets you organize your Menu Bar Apps, by hiding them, moving them to Bartenders Bar, or displaying the full menu bar, set options to have Menu Bar Apps show in the menu bar when they are updating, or have them always visible in Bartenders Bar.

Just bought the Mac app Bartender and my Menu Bar looks nice and clean. The app is really great even it’s still in Beta. This also means you can get it for 50% off until it is available as a 1.0.

SnapRuler for Mac Update

SnapRuler is a tool I use every day and don’t want to live without ever again. I wrote about it in the past and they just released an update with a bunch of nice new features.
For example, you can now hold down ctrl while making a selection to go into some kind of slow motion mode which makes it a lot easier to measure pixel perfect. Great app which is worth every penny. Get it today on the Mac App Store.

New Nike+ Running App

Version 4.0 of the Nike+ Running App is a really great update. The new interface looks even better than the former and they added some nice little functions. If you want to track your runs and like good iPhone apps, this the one to get.

New Tumblr App

There it is, the all new tumblr App for iPhone and iPad. Looks pretty neat and works like a charm. If you use tumblr you’ll love this.

Post recommendations from your iPhone with Reeder 3

Today Reeder for iPhone 3.0 was released. I’m very happy to tell you that is one of the newly integrated sharing services.
You can now easily select text while reading a great story in Reeder, tap „Share…“ and select

In the next step you can type a comment and select a category. Exactly like on the website, in the bookmarklet or the Chrome Extension.

Besides the integration Reeder 3.0 is an amazing update to an anyway great app. I use it every day. You should too.

I bought it last night but only took a quick look. I’m so excited that I can’t wait to start working today. More about my experience with Coda 2 as the days continue and I really know how good it is. But I’ve no doubt this will be may editor of choice for a long time. So was the original Coda.

Diet Coda, the iPad counterpart is also out. I bought it but haven’t looked into it at this point. It’s 7,99€ ($9.99).

We made Coda 2 better at everything.

So it can make you better at everything.

There is a short video to get a first impression, but I really can’t say anything until I’ve tried it myself. There will also be Diet Coda – Coda for iPad.

I’m really excited about this update. I was waiting for it a long time and I really hope it will pay off.
