Nachdem ich heute auf eine Fotoserie von Gianpaolo La Paglia hingewiesen habe, schaute ich mich noch etwas weiter in seinem Portfolio um und ich bin einfach begeistert. Er weiß mit Farbe ebenso gut umzugehen wie mit schwarz/weiss und seine Bilder erzählen Geschichten aus spannenden Perspektiven. Auf jeden Fall einen zweiten Blick wert! Schade, dass es nicht noch mehr zu sehen gibt.

During Ireland’s boom years, indeed, thousands of people bought horses as a status symbol but since incomes have been reducing, a lot of horses are being abandoned on public land. Their upkeep, nowadays, costs around €30 and more per day, too much for people who are losing their jobs.
