Story of the image:
I was out early in the morning to get some shots of the sunrise coming through the fog. The fog was there, but the sun wasn’t strong enough to win against the fog. So I did get any sunrise shot. But instead some very nice photos of the foggy landscape.

Story of the image:
I was on holidays at the sea as I heard of an contest on kwerfeldein.de. It was about sunrise and sundown. So my girlfriend made me get up one time very early to take some pictures of the sunrise at the sea. This is one result. Btw: I decided to enter the contest with this photo, even if there was no sun in it. Just thought I could try it with another style of picture. But it didn’t worked out well. :D I like it, hope you too.

Story of the image:
I was out shooting in the morning and on my way to a single tree (the one I posted some days ago), which I wanted to shoot in the fog, as I saw this scenery. Shorthand I took a photo and "kadouch" (instead of boom smile), here it is.

Story of the image:
Todays photo is nearly three months old, but I processed it only now. I looked into the forest and immaditely had this idea.
Post-processing:
I shot, as always, in RAW-format. Took three different exposed photos. Processed them differently in Adobe Camera Raw and merged them together in Photoshop. Also did some basic tweaks like leveladjustments.

Story of the image:
Since end of May this photo waited to be post-processed. Now I’ve done it. And I’m really really happy with the result. It’s the third photo of this photowalk which I publish. Was a good day. =)
Post-processing:
Merged together to RAW files. One for the sky and some darker parts and one for the green and lighter parts. Did some leveladjustments as well as selective dodging and burning. At the end I added a slight vignette. I love vignettes! =)

Last Sunday I again was in the citypark of Hamburg. It was very hot and lots of people were out there. For me personally, too much. So I didn’t get in the mood of doing good photography. I was on my way home, arguing with myself ‚cause of not taking any good picture, as I saw this scenery here. I then thought, hey, this could be my photo of the day. So, NEVER give up, always look around you, everywhere is a good picture. It’s on you to find it. And take your time, don’t hurry.
Post-processing:
Post-processing was a lot of fun. I did some general adjustments and then thought of b/w. Did some selective adjustements on b/w layers, added some old-skool-film-grain and a very slight vignette. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Da ich für Flickr alle Texte auf Englisch schreibe und sie nicht nochmal übersetzen möchte, müsst ihr bei den Fotoblog-Posts auch hier damit verlieb nehmen, ich hoffe, dass geht okay?!
Story of the image:
First I have to say that I’m sorry that I did not post a foto for a relatively long time. But I moved from my home to another city, Hamburg. So I had a lot to do and not much time to photograph and even not enough time to edit some older photos. But now I hope beeing back in „bussiness“.
This photo was taken in the citypark in hamburg in front of the „planetarium“. I sat down for some time to get a feeling of the place and to calm down from all the hectic in this big city. And after a few minutes I noticed this family sitting at the other side. I thought the small people in contrast to the really big trees and the contrast between the bright top of the trees and the more dark bottom could be a nice photo. So I took it. :)
