Two weeks ago I had a family portrait shooting. It was my first time making photos with kids and I had a lot of fun. And I think Leo did too.
If you think you’ve seen these faces before, it’s because you actually have. I photographed Lorena and Dennis wedding almost two years ago.
So enjoy the photos, I hope you like them as much as I do.

Had a pretty heavy rain shower today here in Hamburg. I snapped this one out of my window which was open all the time. I like the sound and the smell of the rain, especially if it was warm before. Have a nice sunday evening.

The summer in Hamburg is finally here – at least for a few days. So yesterday we decided to have a small barbecue celebrating our QUOTE.fm iPad app beta. I had a hard time deciding between processing the photos in color or black and white. I went with the latter as you can see. I think it’s harder to take and develop a good black and white image but I think it turned out well. Stay with me or just wait until Marcel posts his color photos from yesterday afternoon.

I shot this photo last weekend as I took a walk around our office. It has no deep meaning or something like that, the scene just caught my attention and I like the result. I can’t tell why, it even is in portrait orientation which is quite unusual for me but it just worked better.

As long as Apple is improving the camera in newer iPhones I’ll buy it. Fuckyeah!

On sunday Benny, Svenja, Tatjana and I were having breakfast at Oma’s Apotheke. We have tried a lot of different places in the last months and this was definitely one of the best.

Oh, there’s also a Fotomarathon in Hamburg this year, very cool. It’s on September, 15th. There’s a good chance I’ll take part. Thanks Miriam for pointing that out.
